At Sweet Story, we understand that sometimes plans change. Our cancellation and refunds policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business.

Please read the following terms carefully before placing an order.

1. Cancellation Timeframe

1.1 Orders cancelled up to 5 days before the scheduled collection time will receive a full refund.

1.2 Cancellations made within 5 days but more than 72 hours before the scheduled collection time will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

1.3 No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled collection time.

2. How to Cancel

2.1 To cancel your order, please contact us by email at info@sweetstorycakes.co.uk or call us on 07778 797588.

2.2 Please provide your order number and reason for cancellation when contacting us.

3. Refunds

3.1 Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of the cancellation request being accepted.

3.2 Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

4. Bespoke and Wedding Cakes

4.1 For bespoke and wedding cakes, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.

4.2 The remaining balance is due upon pickup, or in the case of wedding cakes, prior to delivery at the venue.

4.3 We require a minimum of 7 days’ notice before the scheduled pickup or delivery date in order to refund your deposit.

5. Changes to Orders

5.1 Changes to orders can be made up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

5.2 We will do our best to accommodate your request, but changes made within 48 hours of collection may not be possible.
